On 4 February 2014, the European Transport Workers’ Federation (ETF) analysed the new European Commission Regulation that defines the Flight Time Limitations (FTL) for European aircrew, namely cabin crew and pilots. Thanks to the efforts of the ETF and other stakeholders, the original European proposals have been improved and a number of significant concerns for workers have been addressed, protecting them against the risk of fatigue.
