Setting up the ETF Youth Committee
The EU-funded Transunion Youth project was the follow-up project of the earlier TRANSUNION project, which ran from 2010 to 2012 and contained Young Workers Pillar. The objective of the first project was to uncover a clear picture of young transport workers’ real experiences, and collect good practices to better attract young workers to the sector and the trade unions.
The Transunion Youth project, which run in 2013, aimed to build on ETF’s youth work and pave the way for an ETF youth structure and ETF youth work programme while involving young workers in the overall ETF work programme and decision making bodies.
