Flight time limitations: Stop overworking European aircrew! Aircrew – pilots and cabin crew – require keen focus to avoid any accidents and react quickly if dangerous incidents occur. Flight time limitations are supposed to ensure that aircrew are sufficiently rested to undertake their work. Safer Skies Aviation is a very safe form of transport, but accidents can be devastating. Aviation workers are experts on their industry, and they play a vital role in keeping passengers safe. In an emergency they are there to protect passengers. ETF works to ensure that all aviation workers have the training and rest needed for peak performance. Pillars of the Sea Sea fishing remains one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. We are working with our social partner, Europêche, to make it safer. We are developing guidelines on medical examinations and the recruitment of migrant fishers.
