ETF and ITF affiliates met for the first time in Antwerp on 11th March 2015 and discussed the impact of global maritime business model shifts on towage operations and the possible impact of the draft Port Service Regulation on the sector.
The discussion clearly indicated that the aggressive corporate attitude of the big players and their war on tariffs affect the working and living conditions of the tug workers.
