On 7 March, a first Ground Handling Conference took place at the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Headquarters in Cologne. The ETF was able to give vital input during the preparatory workshops of the Ground Handling Focus Group, conference calls and interviews. All together, the conference was an important and successful event. It marked the beginning of a new journey to ensure better safety for passengers and staff. Thanks to the presence and input of ETF, European trade unions have a say in the future direction taken by EASA.
