ETF Congress

On the occasion of ETF’s 6th Ordinary Congress in Budapest, Frank Moreels and Livia Spera were elected President and General Secretary of the European Transport Workers’ Federation.

ETF Youth conference officially opened the 6th ETF Congress week in Budapest. The competition for the people representing the Youth Committee for the five coming years was passionate but fair!

The ETF will hold its 6th Ordinary Congress from 24rd to 27th of May in Budapest, Hungary, under the theme “All Aboard: Destination Fair Transport!” More than 500 participants representing over 200 transport trade unions from 38 countries across Europe will discuss how to address the challenges in the transport sector in a way that ensures a fair future for transport workers.

This year, May 1 has extra special meaning for us because it coincides with the countdown to ETF Congress that will take place from May 24 – May 27 in Budapest, under the slogan All aboard! Destination: Fair Transport!
